Who are the Trainee Counselors?
Counselors come from a variety of professional backgrounds such as lawyers, teachers, journalists, human resources, UN employees, NGOs, the corporate world and more. They have very valuable life experience, and this can be so important in understanding the challenges that their clients face. They are realistic, dedicated, and resourceful with a wide range of life skills.
Some have grown up in international, multilingual contexts, knowing first-hand the difficulties faced by individuals and families adjusting to a new country. All the counselors are passionate about supporting people in navigating difficult life transitions and creating meaningful change.
We are delighted to be able to extend our services to students at Webster Tashkent. Trainee counsellors available for this purpose can be identified by a (T) next to their name.

Isla Campbell
Hi, I’m Isla. I’m an SGfB Member-in-Training and an MA Counselling student at Webster University. I offer online counselling for English-speaking clients and have a working knowledge of French.
Life can be complex, and sometimes we all benefit from a supportive space to explore what’s going on for us. I take an integrative approach, walking alongside clients as they navigate challenges and changes in their lives. I encourage a positive, creative, and curious approach to self-expression, using these lenses to support you in exploring your goals.
Having lived in Switzerland for nearly ten years, and previously in New Zealand, Norway, Japan, Canada, the UK, and France, I aim to bring a broad, multicultural perspective to my work. I see therapy as a way to create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore life’s complexities, connect with your strengths, and find comfort through meaningful connection.
